Vintage 1928 Storage Battery Manual for Electric Street Truck, Industrial Truck, Tractor and Locomotive Salemen by The Technical Staff of the Edison Storage Battery Company. The Edison Storage Battery Company was a company that developed, manufactured, and sold batteries invented by Thomas Edison: History. The company was founded in New Jersey in 1901 to produce Edison's alkaline storage battery and nickel-iron batteries used in early electric vehicles. Its manufacturing facility in West Orange, New Jersey, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1996. With its full gilded print and design intact, the black hardback cover has tight binding and is in very good condition for its age.
